Ruth Haag, Diplomate, ACVIM (Internal Medicine) received her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from Cornell University. She stayed in Ithaca to attend Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 1992. In 1993, she completed a small animal rotating internship at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Haag then returned to Cornell University to complete a residency in Small Animal Medicine and to teach for a year at the veterinary school. She became boarded in Internal Medicine in 1996 and moved to New Jersey with her husband.
Dr. Haag worked at the Veterinary Referral Center in Clifton, New Jersey. In 2003, she joined Veterinary Heart-Sounds and has enjoyed traveling to help veterinarians in New Jersey and New York. Dr. Haag is also very busy at home with four teenage children, of whom she is very proud. Her sons attend Temple University and University of Maryland, and her twin daughters are in high school. She enjoys spending time with her family, including three dogs, and jogging outdoors. |
